The March to the Outlands Word reached the camp of Filthy Masters from a grieving son concerning an unattended death cleanup in Mossleigh, Alberta. It was reported that the deceased, a man of profound solitude and isolation, had perished in exile upon his own lands. Because of the remoteness of the territory and the grim severity of the task, all other local factions and cleaning companies had refused the march. Filthy Masters alone accepted the mandate, understanding that the family required safe passage into the structure to retrieve specific heirlooms and tools.
Upon arriving at the Mossleigh territory, our commanders, Christopher and Kyle, surveyed the structure—a makeshift chicken coop that had served as the man’s final sanctuary. The conditions within were a portrait of extreme squalor and gross filth.
The dwelling lacked any latrine or septic infrastructure. Consequently, the inhabitant had resorted to accumulating human waste in bottles and buckets. The noxious atmosphere was so absolute that no man could cross the threshold without a heavy respiratory mask to filter the toxic vapors. Furthermore, the exact corner where the man had fallen was marked by pooling blood, necessitating immediate biohazard remediation services.
It was in this dark corner of the coop that a strange phenomenon occurred. While Christopher and Kyle stood alone in the chamber, a heavy hand-torch (flashlight)—which had previously been dark and facing the wall—suddenly illuminated and cast its beam directly upon them.
No mortal hand had touched it. It is known among our forensic cleaning experts that the spirits of the departed sometimes linger to observe the pacification of their domain before moving on. We noted this encounter with respect, neither interfering nor showing fear, and methodically continued our work.
The physical extraction of the hazards proved an arduous campaign. A sturdy chair was wedged so tightly into the death site that it became evident the coroner and paramedics must have struggled fiercely to free the body from the confines of the coop
We ordered the rapid deployment of a heavy roll-off bin to the front lines to conquer the sheer volume of hazardous waste removal. For half the day, the vanguard labored to extract the contaminated relics, the collected human waste, and the tragic remains of several feline companions found within the structure. Every surface bearing blood and biological matter was systematically purged.
With the physical corruption completely routed from the coop, we initiated advanced ozone odor removal. An atmospheric ozone generator was deployed and sealed within the structure to bombard the air for a full two hours, breaking down the invisible biological odors that guarded the coop.
When the legion returned on the following day, the foulness had been entirely subjugated. The territory was declared bio-secure, and the grieving family was at last permitted to safely enter the coop and reclaim the tools of their father.
